For this Condition
Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment that fights signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Slowly releasing Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Profhilo encourages the production of collagen and elastin. Your skin will feel firmer and more hydrated and will appear more radiant. Side effects can include itching, redness and tenderness, but, in a recent study 1, 90% of patients said that their skin has been improved by the treatment. This treatment is the safest, most effective of its kind. It’s also incredibly versatile and can be used to hydrate the skin of your neck, arms and hands. The results speak for themselves.
How does Profhilo work?
Our bodies produce Hyaluronic Acid (HA) naturally, but our levels drop after the age of 30. We also stop producing as much collagen. This is what leads to signs of aging, as our skin loosens and becomes less hydrated. Profhilo allows us to increase your levels of HA to fight signs of aging. Because it uses a substance already found in our bodies, the potential side effects normally associated with injectable treatments are reduced. Unlike dermal fillers, which target specific areas such as lips or cheeks, Profhilo spreads across your face, hydrating and firming your skin.
How is Profhilo administered?
Profhilo is injected just below the surface of the skin. You will need two short sessions four weeks apart, to achieve results. These usually last for up to six months. On the day of your treatment, you should avoid makeup and put off going to the gym or swimming.
What results can I expect from Profhilo?
